TV1.com is a new web project designed to empower American voters with access to shareable repository of curated short web videos on a variety of anti-Trump topics.

TV1 started out as a personalizable TV listings application that was acquired by Gist Communications in 1996.   Gist was a pioneering Web 1.0 company that competed successfully with TV Guide Online. In 1997, Gist was one of just 14 websites in the world to be named a winner of the First Annual Webby Awards in San Francisco.

Gist was founded by Jonathan Greenberg, an investigative journalist who has known and written about Donald Trump longer than any reporter working today. Greenberg acquired the TV1.com web domain for his public interest communications company, Progressive Source Communications.

In early 2024, Greenberg seed funded and launched Progressive Source PAC and the Stop Trump Dictatorship Project. Its mission is to create and market opinion-shifting short YouTube video ads to voters in swing states who are unaware of the historic threat to American democracy posed by a Trump dictatorship.
